Scott
Scott sees himself back where it all started. Having opened Rixons On Pakington way back in 1993 our 3rd generation principal stylist grew the business to 3 salons with 40 plus staff. Stripped back to one salon now allows Scott to focus on what he’s passionate about, training and developing staff. Having been in the industry for over 30 years his love of cutting and passing on his wealth of knowledge to others still drives his passion.
Michelle
With over 30 something years of experience Michelle still loves the buzz of the salon and the connection with clients. Helping Scott with the direction of the salon and making sure our clients are happy is always her focus. Successful hairdressers have the ability of making people feel fantastic which is a great skill to have. She’s passionate about the salon growing and evolving and giving our clients the very best.
Yvette
Yvette has been our salon co-ordinator since 2002 and is an integral part of our team. She always goes above and beyond to make our clients feel welcome, she’s very accommodating and makes sure our clients are well cared for. You’ll often see her juggling the phone, receiving stock, directing staff and running after Scott all with a smile.
Taylor
Tay, Scotts 2IC brings her bubbly personality into the salon. She is one of our passionate senior colourists that is always pushing the boundaries and creating effortless colours. Tay is a Kevin Murphy session stylist who loves all things styling and editorial and is always keeping up with the latest trends. In her spare time, she loves to travel and spend time with her family and friends. Tay is currently on maternity leave.
Anna
Anna was our gun apprentice who cleaned up at the 2019 The Gordon’s TAFES Hairdressing Apprentice of the Year. Now highly skilled and fully Qualified, Anna is our salon’s Kerastase Ambassador and Kevin Murphy Session Stylist who is constantly up skilling and focusing on latest trends and techniques. Anna has a bubbly bright personality. A passionate Colourist and Stylist, she loves immersing herself in Hair Shows and Fashion Weeks and hopes to get back to her love of travel.
Leigha
Leigha has been hairdressing since she was 16 Years old. Her passion for hair never stops. Leigha is a fantastic allrounder. She loves creating blondes, effortless colours and pushing the boundaries with crazy colours. Her barbering background takes her style cutting to the next level for men and women. In her spare time Leigha loves her Karate, travelling and taking endless selfies with her cat taco.
Casey
Casey returned to Geelong at the end of 2019 where her career and passion for hairdressing started 13 years ago. She loves transforming her clients wherever possible, and makes time to research new and existing techniques, always wanting to showcase wherever possible in the salon.
In her private life Casey loves finding new adventures to go on with her kids including watching football, long beach walks and a love of live music.
Antonia
Antonia is our young gun who won The Gordon’s Hairdressing Student of the Year in 2021. She decided to change her career path and pursued her love for hair after studying paramedicine. Antonia is now fully qualified and loves making people feel amazing. She is very driven and is always keeping up with new techniques and looks.
Bec
Bec is our up and coming stylist who started with us in 2021 after moving from NSW to Geelong. She has a great natural talent for hair and loves styling and colouring. When she’s not at the salon you will find her by the beach. Bec is currently on maternity leave.
Kiah
Kiah is one of our emerging stylists who started with us back in 2020. She has a natural flair and loves making Lived in beachy blondes that look natural & textured. She enjoys spending time with her friends going to restaurants and bars in the city. Her little dog Quincy is her pride and joy!
Briony
Briony has been hairdressing for 5 years. She has a love for blonde and learning new techniques in all aspects of hair. Originally from Phillip island Briony loves spending time with her fur babies Jimmy & Ralph, gardening and beach walks.
Maxine
Has been hairdressing for 15 years and couldn’t be more passionate about hair! She enjoys all aspects but especially big colour transformations . She loves having a good chat with clients, building relationships while making them feel a million dollars achieving their hair goals.
Keisha
Keisha has been hairdressing for 10 years. She loves creating natural lived in tones and bright bold colours and is always up to trying something new with your hair. When she’s not at work she is running around after two little ones.
Josh
Josh is one of our up & coming stylists who loves a chat and aspires to be the best he can be. When he’s not at work he enjoys hanging out with friends and listening to music.
